How does the rating system work?Churchly's 5-star rating system is built to promote excellence in the creative space. We want to encourage the very best in the Church experience. Ratings will be available to churches and creatives once a gig is completed. The rating system is based on five core criteria: Skill, Timeliness, Preparation, Communication, Professionalism. Additional comments can be left to specify feedback.
-
What are boosts?Boosts last 24 hours and prioritize creatives, churches, and gigs in the feed.
-
Who can sign up?Individuals and organizations can sign up to use the service. Subscriptions will unlock additional features such as an ad-free experience, featured listings, group access, and the ability to post gigs.
-
What are endorsements?Endorsements enable creatives to leave feedback for other creatives in the community. This feature helps build trust within the community and boosts the credibility of creatives and churches.
-
How much does Churchly cost?Churchly utilizes a "fremium" business model. Services are free to use and can be upgraded for additional features. Premium subscriptions start at $9.99/mo for creatives and $99.99/mo for churches.
-
How do churches and creatives match for a gig?Churches and premium users will have the ability to post gigs. Once a gig is listed, it will be pushed out to the creative network. Creatives can then apply for the posted gig. Churches will have the opportunity to review applicants and approve a creative for the gig. The gig will be added to each user's schedule. Once the gig has ended, the church and creative will receive a prompt to review the experience. Additionally, churches can invite creatives to apply for a particular gig.
-
What is Churchly?Churchly is an app that bridges the gap between churches and creatives. It allows churches to post gigs for various creative roles for weekend services and special events. Gigs will be visible to creatives who have signed up for the service.
-
What is included in the premium subscription?Creative subscriptions include verified status, additional endorsements, and boosts. Church subscriptions include verified status, unlimited gig listings, unlimited endorsements, group admin access (up to five admins per organization), and boosts.
-
How does the group admin feature work?Churchly has integrated a group admin feature to allow churches to assign administrative access to multiple users. This gives approved admins the ability to post gigs under the organization's name. For instance, a church may assign admin access to a production director and worship leader. The production director can then post a gig for lighting while the worship leader posts a gig for a keys player, all under the organization's name. The assigned admin will be the point of contact for the gig they post.
-
Why should I use Churchly? For decades, the creative community has relied on word-of-mouth to find gigs. While this has been mildly effective, it limits the power of creatives by placing their opportunities in the hands of a third party. We want to remove the extra step and empower creatives to speak up for themselves, showcase their skills, and directly engage with churches for equal opportunities.
